    What you expect from a very old local. Good beer but few updates required especially in the bathroom. Nothing wrong if your going for a nice beer on a sunny day. Great beer garden out back to admire the quiet. And it's iron acton so lovely surroundings.

    Traditional village pub which is something of a rarety today. Very pleasant landlord who is obviously proud of his pub. Excellent lunchtime value with two meals for the price of one and the steak was as good as you'll get, being thick, tender and succulent. We'll definitely be back.
